I'm a journalist who writes, edits and produces print and multimedia content for, among others, The Guardian, The Financial Times, The Daily Telegraph, Monocle, Management Today, Google Think, Weapons of Reason, LA Times, Times Higher Education, World Economic Forum, easyJet Traveller, Professional Manager and Gulf Life.

I plan, produce and present podcasts and audio packages for radio stations including Monocle 24 and corporate clients including Sage Gateshead and Vauxhall Motors.

I have been the publisher and editor of quarterly long-form journalism magazine The Northern Correspondent, and an independent, design-led magazine about comedy, Stand & Deliver.

I work on social media, digital, peer-to-peer and hyperlocal news projects with groups of undergraduate and masters journalism students at Newcastle University - and am director of its Civic Journalism Lab.
